Role Summary

As a P1 Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction to learners aged age range 7 – 13 years, fostering academic excellence, character development, and holistic growth. You will play a key role in creating a nurturing classroom environment and supporting students to reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the national curriculum
  • Adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs
  • Implement effective classroom management strategies
  • Identify and support learners with special educational needs
  • Communicate regularly with parents/guardians on student progress
  • Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development
  • Support extracurricular activities and promote student involvement

Qualifications & Requirements

  • P1 Certificate from a recognized teacher training institution
  • TSC certificate
  • Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in upper primary (preferred)
  • Strong understanding of the Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to student success and professional growth
